Call of Duty: Warzone is one of the best free-to-play Battle Royale games of all time. Go it alone or as a team across massive maps where you’ll have to fight to be the last one standing and claim victory. Experience a variety of Battle Royale game modes, including special limited-time modes that will be released throughout the year.

Dive, slide, and jump in every direction with the new omni-directional movement system, upgrade your loadout with the “Pick Three” perk system, and take advantage of Black Ops 6’s new arsenal of weapons in classic modes like Battle Royale, Resurgence, and Plunder. With the addition of Prestige and the Camo Mastery Challenge coming to Call of Duty: Warzone mid-season, it won’t be just the desert air and Area 99’s nuclear reactor that’ll be at risk of overheating.

Modes

BATTLE ROYALE

In this classic mode, teams will have to go all-in and compete to be the last on the battlefield.

RESURGENCE

This popular mode is a variation of Battle Royale that favors a faster, more aggressive playstyle on smaller maps. Rather than being thrown into the gulag, eliminated players redeploy after a short respawn time, provided their teammates are still alive.

PILLAGE

Collect as much money as possible in this limited time mode. The biggest fish wins the game.

THE GULAG

In this last chance, Warzone’s classic overtime mechanics mix with Domination-style flag control point for overtime.

MAPS

AREA 99

In the Nevada desert lies a government secret: the Echo Ridge Weapons Station, also known as Area 99. Dormant for decades just a few miles from the original Nuketown testing area, this government site is ripe for a fast-paced and, of course, explosive gameplay style.

AVAILABLE IN-SEASON

REBIRTH ISLAND

Deploy to Rebirth Island. Though the points of interest will be instantly familiar to veteran players, there’s plenty to discover including navigable waterways, retrofitted infrastructure, and the weathered remnants of former occupants. Featuring a variable time of day, map-changing infil strikes, and more, this is a whole new way to play the fan-favorite map.

URZIKSTAN

Discover Urzikstan, a familiar cityscape with 11 major points of interest. From the iconic Popov Power Plant in the north to Zaravan Suburbs in the south, there’s a new favorite hotspot for everyone. Take control of the train, use ziplines to improve your travel, and escape the Gulag. With contracts and public events, this mix of classic and evolving gameplay will have you and your team redeploying again and again.

A fleet of ground and air vehicles are present in Warzone. Use them to your advantage after you deploy.
